After a little time off, gambling Wedensday's are byke and better than ever and just in time for the return of baseball season!! You will start seeing money-line bets from me because baseball is way to much of a shitshow for me to feel good giving picks with points in baseball. I will include baseball and basketball picks alike, so without further ado, lets get to it.
Giants vs. Dbacks (moneyline)
Matt Moore gets the start in the third spot of the rotation as the giants and diamondbacks face off for game 3 of 4 in the giants opening series, and I have high hopes for him this season. After going 13-12 combined with the rays and giants last season, expect moore to do even better with a strong lineup and defense behind him.
Will there be a run scored in the first inning?
Warriors vs. Suns (+10)
There is great value in this pick as it was announced earlier in the day that both Andre and Draymond will be sitting out today, the Warriors usually end up not playing as well without having all there parts, especially two that are so integral to their defense. The suns can get up and down the court and score points in bunches. While I still would take the warriors winning, do not expect the suns to go down without a fight.
Padres vs. Dodgers (Moneyline)
Duck the Fodgers
Thunder vs. Grizzlies (+2.5)
In a game that could have huge playoff seating implications, the focus will all be on #0 from OKC, who has 41 triple doubles and is tied with Oscar Robertson for most in one season. As he looks to break that record tonight, I think it will come at the expense of his team.
That is it for this weeks picks, check in with me next week for more, or hit me on twitter @lconley55 .
May the line be forever in your favor
BONUS MASTERS PICK
The spectical that is the masters begins tommorow and I can not be more excited for the best nap weekend of the year. Betting for golf is an absolute shitshow so take this pick with a grain of sand, but I LOVE how Jon Rahm has been playing leading up to the masters. He has a win at the farmers and was one shot away from taking DJ to a playoff last week, this guy is outta his mind right now. The field has opened up a bit after a late breaking news that DJ fell down stairs and hurt his back, even though he is hoping to still play, that has got to factor into his game. Rahm may not be Spieth or Rory, but this could be the break through win that put him squarely on the map. Plus he is a GREAT value at +2500.
Jon Rahm +2500
Everything you need to know about the yay.
