(Source) The public may be used to seeing ice cream carts or beer carts at events on hot summer days, but not carts selling illicit substances. Victoria Police say they arrested a man pedalling a marijuana cart that was decorated with the name “420 Delivery” in large type on the sides. The number 420 is a widely used code term for marijuana use. Officers noticed the man pedalling through the city’s downtown core last week. Police say the 22-year-old man in charge of the vending cart was found in possession of 150 grams of marijuana. The man was released on a promise to appear in court next month. Police are recommending charges of one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
This is one of those moves that was almost so obvious and savage that it worked, riding around in weed delivery bike selling weed. The only problem is, this guy should have played the long game, and set this into events months before. Start with the cart and just have Ice cream in there or something not weed related, and just bike around town for a couple months. Eventually, every cop in the city is going to pull you over and check out your cart, at which point you maybe give them free ice cream or something for their trouble. Then, when you establish yourself as the fake weed ice cream guy or whatever, boom, you switch over to weed and start moving pounds with ease. Either this guy just didn't give a fuck about getting caught or he was just plain stupid, but if your gonna do this at least put some effort in. Also, good on him for the no minors sign. Who says morality's dead?
