Your Senior legal expert here at nativebaydestrian giving you all you need to know about the Brady decision. *disclaimer: no formal legal training.* The never ending saga of deflate gate could have come to a complete and final close this week. Brady and his team filed an appeal to the April 25th 2-1 Decision which reversed the previous courts decisions, and reinstated the 4 game suspension levied against Brady by the NFL. The court held "We hold that the Commissioner properly exercised his broad 20 discretion under the collective bargaining agreement and that his 21 procedural rulings were properly grounded in that agreement and 22 did not deprive Brady of fundamental fairness." ((15‐2801 (L), 15‐2805 (CON)). This punishment is based upon Brady's “general awareness' of misconduct by team employees."(Case 15-2801, Document 265).
Brady does have one more option to continue fighting his case. He can have his team apply for a writ of cert at the highest court in the land, the Supreme Court of the United States. There are two schools of thought when it comes to the deflate gate suspension: The staunch, defend that wall, ride or die Brady guys who says fuck how long it takes, fuck the cost, fight this to the end and save Brady's legacy. Then there is most of the rest of the NFL who are just sick and tired of this story and the patriot's dominance, hate belichick. Me? shit I'm riding with Brady screaming fuck Roger Goodell and all his lies. There has been no proof of any knowledge whatsoever on behalf of Brady, he has been bullied and attacked by the megadeath monster that is the league office in New York. Honestly, if they force Brady to be suspended, 60 percent chance he says fuck it and retires. Either way, Tom Brady has been framed and this does not bode well for future decisions having to deal with NFL players.
