Week one is here in the college football world and it is an E L E C T R I C one. The NCAA is taking full advantage of starting a week before the NFL, dropping game after fire game to get the SZN started out with a bang. I am going to do a 5 game pick em, use this information at your own discretion because I am by no mean's an expert in betting. Enjoy -CC 3: Oklahoma(-10) vs. 15: HustonThis game will be a ton of fun to watch. I'm high on Baker Mayfield, he has the dual threat that makes you a true weapon across the board, and the rest of his team is STACKED. Every single year, I have wanted to count out Houston but somehow they always end up being good. I'm not sure what they do down there to be continually in the national conversation, but whatever it is keep it rolling. While I'm picking Oklahoma to win this game, I see it being extremely high scoring (don't take the under) and I think Houston will keep it within the 10. My Pick: Houston +10 1: Alabama (-10.5) vs. 20:USC This has been the game I have been looking forward to ALL OFFSEASON. Quick disclaimer, I'm a big SC fan so I'll do my best to not let my bias shine through here, but no promises. Once again, Bama comes in #1 at the country, with a giant running back Bo Scarbrough who is 6'2" 228 of visceral violence and aggression. The rest of their defense and offense is stacked just like it is every year. SC on the other hand is obviously far from the days of Leinart and Bush but is by no means not still someone to worry about on your schedule. With Max Browne winning out the QB battle after 2 years of sitting behind Kessler, it will be interesting if he can step up to the plate and step into the mantle of being an SC Quarterback. Also the Trojans return Adoree' Jackson who is an all purpose beast (Highlights) who can get a tug or 2 in any game. Still, with all this it is clear that Bama is the better team and will probally win. If this was later in the season they would do so handily... BUT NOT SO FAST, bama is known for early season turn overs and not being completely cohesive until later in the Season. Bama will win, but not by 11 points My Pick: USC +10.5 5: LSU vs. Wisconsin (+10)I'm picking this game for one reason and one reason only: I'm picking Leonard Fournette as my preseason Heisman favorite. He will quite simply run your ass over and then out run your teammates down the feild (Highlights). This man is a strait up problem. I'm High on LSU as a team itself this year as well, I think they could be in the CFP if they can make it through the SEC (no easy task). My Pick: LSU -10 2: Clemson (-7.5) Vs. AuburnEveryone who watched Last Chance U on Netflix remembers John Franklin III and everything that came with him. An explosive athlete who has a big arm, but just couldn't seem to put it together outside of when he blew up in front of the scout during one of the last games of the season. Thing's have not gotten better, as he is the third string QB on auburn, and there have been rumors he might move to RB. Clemson on the other hand have an ABSOLUTE stud and Heisman Candidate in Deshaun Watson, while bringing back an elite defense and offensive weapons. My pick: Clemson -7.5 10: Notre Dame (-3.5) vs. TexasI have no idea how this line is so close, with Texas being unranked this is one of the few times that vegas fucked up. So I am making this game my IMORTAL LOCK. I am big on Zaire Malik and i Believe that this is his season to put up or shut up and I hope I puts up. The only argument for Texas that can be made is atleast they are close to home.
MY PICK: Notre Dame -3.5
