The 49ers are officially back to there losing ways. The previous two weeks losses where somewhat predictable: this team was not going to be the NFC champion Panthers or the top 4 Seahawks, just not possible for this team. Coming into this week against Dallas, we had a winnable game, this team had key players out and looked very human. For the First 19:00 minutes, the 49ers were even running away with the game, until the 49ers remembered who they were and immediately fell to pieces. OffenseThis offense came out clicking on all facets, moving the ball up and down the field with relative ease and scoring at will. Then all of that stopped all at once, immediately and abruptly, the 49ers couldn't move the ball at all. If there is one play to sum up the game, It was Torrey Smith blowing by a DB wide open for a touchdown, and Gabbert simply not having the arm strength to get it to him. Pitiful. #Startkap C+ DefenseThe biggest blow of the season came when Novarro Bowman, star middle linebacker, tore his Achilles and is out for the rest of the season. The Defense looked pretty good up until that point, but still showed that they are not good enough to hang with even the mediocre teams in the NFL. C Special TeamsAny game when you have 196 yards punting does not bode well for any team. The 49ers did their jobs on special teams this week, made their field goal and extra points, covered there punts, and did what they were sent out there to do. B+ CoachingTruly uninspired coaching from Chip Kelly, the man who was supposed to turn it all around with his quick fire offense has left this fan base bored and pissed off. For his system to work, he needs a different QB, and whether that is due to management issues (Baalke) or his own decision making, that change is not being made.
