I don't know how you could have missed him at this point, but this man-child Zion Williamson has taken over the internet by storm in a basketball season season seemingly destined to be dominated by deep three pointers from Lamelo ball. Not only is this kid jumping out the gym for dunks, but he's slapping away any type of layup the other puts up, and he can knock down shots from downtown. The crazy part is this kid is only 16, and still has another year in highschool, 1 year in college before we can see him in the NBA dunk contest. Making 360 dunks look smoother than Aaron Gordon does, this kid is 6'8" jumping like he's 5'10" and has to work extra hard to dunk. Since I am more interested in telling than spelling, enjoy Zion being Zion. Editors note: Extra video at the end with Oprah Sideverson, this dude is hilarious and gets even more hyped -CC

From the Warriors to power ranking pies, this first ever late night nativebaydestrian podcast discuss issue on issue with frank honesty.
Happy hump day to all, and welcome back to your favorite way to pick up some mid week cash. Last week I went 3-2 thanks to a last second backdoor cover by the hornets, and you all know any day in the positive is a good day. Without further ado, lets get to the picks. Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Indiana Pacers (+3)Unfortunately, we were all witnesses to Lebron blowing a game winning layup before hitting an INSANE 3 to tie the game with the Wizard to send them to overtime where they would eventually win. We relearned what we always knew, Lebron is good at basketball. Paul George, on the other hand, has not lived up to his superstar billing, dropping a relatively pedestrian 22.5, 6.1 and 3.3 on a team where he is the #1 option by a mile. As much as it pains me.... MY Pick Cavs -3 Lakers vs. Pistons (-7)I'm picking this game because I LOVE the spread: 2 relatively mediocre teams with a giants spread screams $ signs at me. While on paper the lakers have a much worse record, if you look at who the teams have to play (Detroit in the east, LA in the west) this should be a much closer game than advertised. MY Pick Lakers +7 Raptors vs. T-Wolves +4I think the love of the young core the Wolves have has left their value highly inflated. All their "stars" are super young and KAT is the only legit powerhouse. Wiggins seems like a glorified Terrance Ross, who gets extra hype because of being a #1 pick. The raptors are real, with a top 3 backcourt duo and a solid frontcourt. MY pick Raptors -4 Jazz Vs. Pelicans +4The Jazz have been rolling and the pelicans have not. Simply put, the jazz are a more complete teams and I will continue to pick them until they lose for me. MY Pick Jazz -4 Bulls vs. Warriors -17My LEAST favorite pick of the week is still always the Warriors, because the spreads are huge and you have no idea which team will show up. In fact, the warriors are 24-28 against the spread this season. Jimmy Buttler not playing also leads me to think the Warriors might not bring their A game, but the fact that they lost the previous game offsets that. Take this with a grain of salt, but my pick is... MY pick Warriors -17 This concludes this weeks picks, may the spread be forever in your favor.
-CC My love of slam ball has been well documented and I've been talking shit about how I would dominate in every fashion if I got on the slam ball court. This video brought me 1000 percent back to reality, because the pure lack of athleticism showcased in all of its slow motion glory is pretty much exactly what I think I would look like out there. Either way, thank GOD for the last dude giving me some hope. Enjoy.
